There are two general types of Turbo Dork paints and one subtype:
Metallics contain pigments and small mica flakes that create a sparkling effect on the paint surface making it look like metal.
Turboshifts are made with tiny glass-like flakes that work like millions of small prisms within the paint. Depending on how the flakes are made, different colors are refracted or reflected in the light. In layman's terms this means that the paint changes color depending on what light you are viewing it under, and what angle you are holding it to that light.
There are three different categories of Turboshifts based pretty much on how they look in the bottle.
True2Color - more or less looks like one of the shifting colors
White Base - looks white with a few flecks of color
Red Base - looks red even though the shifting colors are not red
Zenishifts are Turboshifts that shift differently over different base colors. They appear almost as if they were two metallics in one bottle, with one color or the other dominating depending on what color base they are sitting over. In the bottle they look like one of the colors that they flip between.
This is the darkest paint of the Sky Above Bundle matched set and appears dark purple in the bottle.
Ill Gotten Gold is not technically a color shift paint, but does have a slight green undertone shift when used over a black primer.
Ground is Lava is our premier Turboshift. It look red in the bottle but changes from a vibrant red to a yellow gold to orange with use.
Dark Net, appearing red in the bottle, is our darkest shift paint, but one of the coolest.

I just love this blue. It is soo bright and vibrant. Definitely a hero color, a real stand-out in a crowd.
A super saturated blue metallic. No mistaking this color for anything else, but at least your fingers won't get dirty.
I'm doin' fine, up here on cloud nine. Like the tips of a sunset, Cloud Nine combines cotton candy pinks, yellows, and a hint of orange.
Like breaking open a geode and discovering what it holds inside in the form of pale blue and pink crystals.
The darkest of the true metallic golds, some might even say it's a bronze. Please use over a black primer.
Stock up on the real deal. An expensive looking mid-range true metallic gold, intended to be used over a black primer.
All That Glitters is a pure yellow gold with high pigmentation. It is extremely bright and perfect for eye catching details.
Afterburner which appears red in the bottle has our widest range of colors in a shift paint. Moving from a warm copper through a yellow gold front facing color to a light green rim.
3D Glasses which appears red in the bottle but develops a beautiful blue/cyan front facing color that transitions to a magenta.
