COVID-19 Information / Limited Store Opening
First of all I want to give a big thank you to all of you for your tremendous support and encouragement during the past several weeks. Both during the internet only phase, and now again with curbside you haven't forgotten about us. In fact at times you've overwhelmed us. We shipped out almost 1000 orders during April and our phones have been ringing off the hook since curbside resumed. (We had to add additional phone lines). We are exhausted, but we are alive and we thank you, very much, from the bottom of our hearts.
Tomorrow begins yet another new phase in this Covid era. Hub Hobby will once again be opening its doors to customers and we are excited to welcome you back, but it has to be with some restrictions and limitations. We are going to take it slow and proceed cautiously while we learn how to operate in this new environment.
What does this mean for Hub Hobby and its customers? It means that first of all we will be limiting the number of customers that will be allowed in to the store at one time and by extension, we will have to limit the number of customers in any given department. These numbers will be different at each store.
That is not the only difference between the two stores. At both stores, for the health and safety of all of our customers, as well as our staff and families, Hub employees will currently be required to wear face masks. Fask masks are strongly encouraged for our Little Canada customers, but they are REQUIRED for our Richfield patrons. Trust me, I realize this may not be a popular decision, but the reality of the situation is, that because we have staff and family members that are at risk, if we do not take this precautionary measure, we will have insufficient staff and the Richfield store will not be able to open at all. I hope you understand and can work with us through this most difficult time by choosing the store that works best for you. We will continue to offer curbside pick up at both locations and we are adding product to our website daily.
As we get accustomed to these new circumstances hopefully we can increase the number of customers allowed. We look forward to your visit. And we really look forward to a time when all of the restrictions have been lifted.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
