Product Details
Measuring over three feet in length, the Pro Boat ShockWave 36 is a ready-to-run deep-vee speedster that can reach speeds in excess of 30mph. The power comes from the installed Dynamite .32 Marine engine. The Dynamite .32 Marine is water-cooled and comes equipped with a convenient electric start and high performance tuned exhaust system. Control is provided by ProBoat's trusty pistol grip radio system that offers drivers analog adjustment of steering rates as well as throttle and steering trim.
The ShockWave's workmanship is equally impressive. The hull is professionally built from fiberglass and painted with the same technologies used in todays automotive finishes. Rubber motor mounts significantly reduce vibration and lengthen the hull's life. There are no plastic parts on this boat. All the running hardware is stainless steel and aluminum, including the adjustable trim tabs that let drivers adjust the "ride" for varying wave conditions. Anti-skid fins, an oversized rudder and an adjustable strut for the Pro Boat propeller add even more ride-tuning options.
This is high-octane RC offshore excitement at its best.
* Water-cooled Dynamite® .32 marine w/ Tiger Drive and electric starter
* Completely ready-to-run
* Stainless steel and aluminum running hardware
* Pro Boat? propeller
* Pre-painted fiberglass hull
* Pro Boat? AM 27mHz Pistol grip radio system
* Speeds over 35 mph
To increase speed on calm water, bend the trim tabs up 1/4 to 1/2 inch with a pair of pliers. This will lift the front of the hull out of the water at high speeds, lower hull resistance and increase speed. This may however lessen the cornering ability. The trim tabs can also be adjusted individually to level the boat and compensate for engine and propeller torque. You can also increase top speed by removing the anti-skid fins, but you may experience reduced stability in rough conditions.
Flex Shaft Care:
Check the flex shaft after every run by rotating the propeller by hand (with the engine not running). If you feel any binding, lubricate the flex shaft. The flex shaft should be cleaned by wiping with a rag and denatured alcohol then lubricated after 3-4 hours of operation and after sitting dormant for several weeks.
If you are running in saltwater you should clean and lubricate your flex shaft after every session.
Please refer to your owners manual for flex shaft removal.
