This is the Introduction To Walnut Hollow® Wood Relief Carving Kit. Suitable for Ages 16 & Older. FEATURES: This kit is designed specifically for the beginner wood carver. The wood in this kit is Wisconsin Basswood, which has a uniform light golden color, and fine texture with little grain. Both negative and positive relief carving techniques are included. There are 4 different carving knives: V Knife, Slant Knife, Gouge Knife, Rounded Knife. Each knife is pre-sharpened, made of tempered high grade steel and has an unfinished wood handle. Detailed, step-by-step instructions.
